Joey's Poem

Among these grey clouds, there is so much beauty,

As they promise for a brighter tomorrow,

when the world will come alive
and all souls rejoice, alleviating sorrow.

As the clouds roll away, you will be gone
But happy you will be as you follow your heart
In a world of happiness and joy,
Making a new start.
May G-d protect you as you save a life,
and guide you as you do His will,
To seek out the poor souls
Who need to feel a kind heart still.
All will be blessed that come to know you
For your inner beauty will help them see
Their own path and their potential
As you looked into my soul and helped me.
I see myself in a new light, and
Through your eyes I see the world anew
That all things have a greater purpose
And a deeper meaning, just like you.
G-d's plan for you is amazing,
A holy vision that will come to light,
But you will have to go far away,
And I will be sad to say goodbye one night.
I will always remember you
Even after we say our goodbyes,
And think of your smile and endless joy,
When the sun reveals itself from disguise. 

Two Way Mirror

Here I am watching you through a two way mirror

As you are surrounded by your pain and a face that haunts

The pain is a weight that crushes your bones, and your veins

Completely trapping you in a thought that daunts.

I want to help you through the pain, hold you close,

Maybe my love can make the pain just disappear

As you chase away the demons of the past

That never let you go and keep you in fear.

With everyday, the sun rises just like the cycle continues

One happy moment dies but ignites a precarious fire

You are angry, venomous with your words to watch me burn

Like a sick twisted desire.

I just want to feel  your happiness and love

Not the torment of wishes for a better day

But my dreams are drowning in a sea of cries

As I ignore my heart and stay.

To just fall in love once more.

To love and be loved,
Everyday a laugh for every kiss,
To love without trying
To make everyday full of bliss.
Oh God what a wonder is love
Its innocence and utter delight
To have someone to call your own
And to hold you so tight.
The tender touch of hands
A gentle kiss in the rain
The words I love you
And the fond memories that always remain.
How I dream to love
And to adore
Just to let someone in
And be loved once more.
